In this session, we will review a digital age professional knowledge framework: technological pedagogical and content knowledge - TPACK (Mishra & Koehler, 2006). We will engage in a "TPACK" experience to guide your growing capacity targeted at planning, implementing, and assessing of technology-infused learning activities.

After this session you will be able to:
  • Understand the importance of the TPACK lens as a guide to find the best intersection of curricular standards, sound pedagogy choices, and technology selections;
  • Understand and apply basic concepts associated with technological, pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK);
  • Reflect and articulate the value and challenges of effective learning experiences supported by TPACK;
  • Understand the relationship between TPACK, the NC Educator Evaluation rubric, the NCLTI rubric and IMPACT Rubric
