Session Purpose/Overview:
This session will utilize ITES resources such as the NC professional standards and pilot rubrics for school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators to enrich district and school level library media and technology programs.

Session Description:

Through collaborative activities, participants will apply the NC professional standards and pilot rubrics for school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators, along with other identified ITES resources, to their practice.

Session Objectives:

  • Engage and equip LEA leadership teams with relevant knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to implement the NC Professional Standards for School Library Media Coordinators and Instructional Technology Facilitators in their library media and technology programs
  • Identify strategies to enhance school library media and technology programs through collaboration and resource exploration
  • Build capacity at district and school level

Learning Outcomes:

After this session, participants will be able to:
  • Collaborate with educators within and outside of their LEA/Charter to strengthen their practice
  • Apply the NC professional standards for school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators to their practice
  • Support the professional growth of school library media coordinators and instructional technology facilitators in their districts and schools
